It seems there are numerous organisations in Malaysia that have identified the need for professional and effective training programmes for employees. The skills to be developed include assertiveness, English, communication, rapport, problem solving and team building.
There appears to be three problems or stumbling blocks
(a) Cash - everyone wants courses and training on a minimum budget that simply is not feasible
(b) Resources and infrastructure - these training sessions need accreditation and facilities
(c) Time - changing people's mindset takes time! One cannot send someone for a three day English language course and expect a magical development. Skills and attitudes adjust over time and therefore programmes need to be devised with this in mind.
